A confidential list of strategic instalations around the world, published by Wikileaks, mentions Romania, Russia and Croatia as intermediaries in a deal to supply Iran with strategic defence equipment. The provider was allegedly a German company and the trade was supposed to take place in 2007. Romania, Russia and Croatia were supposed to help the supplier avoid the embargo on Iran.
